This separate notice describes M&T Adjusters practices for nonpublic personal information when a customer relationship begins or continues. It supplements, but does not replace, the Website Privacy Notice or a signed engagement.
Scope and delivery
M&T provides this initial notice when the customer relationship is established, an annual notice while it continues when required, and a revised notice before materially expanding disclosures. When delivered electronically, evidence of consent and delivery is retained.

- Policy, claim, loss, and coverage information
- Property records, photographs, estimates, and inventories
- Transactions, payments, and communications
- Information from insurers, lenders, contractors, professionals, public agencies, and authorized vendors
How we use information
We use information to evaluate and perform authorized representation; investigate, document, and present a claim; communicate; administer the relationship; prevent fraud and protect systems; maintain records; and meet legal, regulatory, and contractual duties.
Disclosures
We do not sell claim information, leads, or sensitive data, and we do not share mobile consent for third-party advertising. We may disclose information as authorized or reasonably necessary to insurers, lenders, contractors, or professionals involved; vendors acting for M&T under confidentiality and security duties; advisers; and regulators, courts, or authorities when applicable.
Access, correction, and opt-out rights
Where applicable law provides, you may request access or correction and may exercise opt-out rights for certain nonaffiliate disclosures. We will verify identity and explain any legal exception. We do not limit rights that cannot be waived.
Safeguards, retention, and former customers
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards and require appropriate controls from vendors. We retain files according to the engagement, legal duties, and legitimate security or defense needs. Required protections continue for former-customer information.
